About the Westside Money Makers
Purpose and Mission
The Westside Money Makers are a group of successful and highly ethical businesspeople dedicated to helping each other’s businesses succeed through networking and mutual support. We meet weekly to share business, celebrate successes, and educate our partners. We focus on the continued prosperity of the group and each member. We limit the members to category-specific membership to ensure the best possible results in the group. The goal is to provide a structured social gathering in a venue convenient and conducive to growth. As part of our dedication to our member’s success, we reach out to our community. The key to any small business is the support of the community in which it works. Each year the group sponsors a family in need to provide Holiday gifts.
Westside Money Makers History
The Westside Money Makers was founded by Jeff Dicks, a local Realtor. His goal was to start a group on the Westside of Phoenix. The group initially began as a BNI chapter. After gathering a group of local business owners and representatives, the group decided to break away from BNI. Jeff then ran the group on his own. The main reasons for branching out independently from BNI were to keep the fees low and local. In April 2015, Jeff passed away in a car accident in Mexico. From there, two members, Cindy Dillard and David Rider helped transition the leadership roles and maintain the group.
